The Alpine Rally is an iconic motorsport event.

The event was first run in 1921, it is the oldest rally in Australia and the third oldest motorsport event in the world.

The Historic Rally Association has reinvigorated the event in its new home of East Gippsland as a rally for two wheel drive classic rally cars. The Alpine has regularly attracted the cream of Australia’s gravel rally competitors.

Based in Lakes Entrance, the event will start on Friday 29 November 2019 and will cover over 700 km, visiting Barinsdale, Bruthen, Orbost and Cann River before finishing on the Lakes Entrance Foreshore on Sunday afternoon 3rd December.
