HRA members Geoff Hale and Alan Baker competed in the 2011 Alpine in Geoff’s VW Golf. Alan was HRA Editor at the time and was on the lookout for a good story for the club magazine. He took a bunch of pics at start and finish controls – through the co-drivers window. Here is the result – a great collection of wonderful Alpine Officials doing what they do to let us all enjoy this sport.
Of course, this was only a small part of the team – Alan said that these were at locations where he had time and where to pics were in focus! It takes about 250 groups of officials to put an Alpine on the road.
